Realization of a multimedia path for the exhibition "Santa Maria Antiqua. Tra Roma e Bisanzio" done for the special reopening of the church Santa Maria Antiqua, located in the Roman Forum. The project's goal is to guide visitors in an understanding of the building's history and paintings in both a theatrical and historically accurate journey. Through video mapping the missing parts of the frescos of the two chapels on the sides of the presbytery are visually reconstructed providing the visitor with an immersive experience. The project also comprised the realisation of the three videos, “Prima di Santa Maria Antiqua”, “Santa Maria Antiqua”, “Santa Maria Antiqua. Universi tra Roma e Bisanzio”, which tell the history of the church through the narration of its historical phases, paintings and restorations. Client: Electa Mondadori

Santa Maria Antiqua - Mostra multimediale (2016)

Realizzazione di un percorso multimediale per la mostra “Santa Maria Antiqua. Tra Roma e Bisanzio”, organizzata in occasione della straordinaria riapertura della chiesa Santa Maria Antiqua, nel Foro Romano. Il progetto ha l’obiettivo di guidare il visitatore nella lettura della storia dell’edificio e delle sue pitture in un percorso emozionale e scientificamente attendibile. Attraverso il video mapping si sono restituite, in maniera immersiva, le parti mancanti degli affreschi delle due cappelle ai lati del presbiterio. Il progetto comprende anche la realizzazione dei tre filmati “Prima di Santa Maria Antiqua”, “Santa Maria Antiqua”, “Santa Maria Antiqua. Universi tra Roma e Bisanzio”, che raccontano la storia della chiesa attraverso la narrazione delle sue fasi storiche, pittoriche e di restauro. Cliente: Electa Mondadori
